Use the announcement, not a guess
Enter the date, clock time, and source time zone from the official title announcement. The default is an illustrative midnight Pacific input, not a release announcement. The converter uses your browser’s IANA time-zone data and shows the same instant in seven US zones. It includes the calendar date, so an evening release in one place may appear on another date elsewhere.
Daylight-saving edge cases
A time inside the spring clock jump does not exist. The tool rejects it. A time inside the repeated fall hour can refer to two instants; both are returned. Ask the source which offset it means. Pacific Time is a zone with seasonal rules, while a fixed abbreviation such as PST can mean a specific offset. Choose the geographic zone intended by the source.
Worked example and limits
For an illustrative November 6, 2026 release at 00:00 in Los Angeles, New York reads 03:00 on the same date. The calculation does not prove the show is released then. If an announcement gives only a date, there is no confirmed time to convert. Weekly episodes and local-market launches may follow different instructions.
Read the release-time guide. Netflix’s official release-time guidance provides a typical schedule and exceptions, rather than a rule for every provider.
